Methodology

How we research and publish.

We believe fertility information should be transparent about where it comes from, how it was checked, and what it can and cannot tell you.

Our process

Every guide starts with the same question: what does a patient actually need to know?

1. Research

We review peer-reviewed studies, clinic data, government sources, and patient resources. We prioritize primary sources and clearly flag when information is preliminary or disputed.

2. Verify

We cross-check claims against multiple sources, note publication dates, and identify conflicts of interest. Outdated or contested information is labeled as such.

3. Explain

We translate complex information into plain language without oversimplifying to the point of being misleading. We define terms and show our work.

4. Publish & update

Each page includes a last-updated date, source count, and known limitations. We revise as new evidence becomes available.

What we do and don’t do

We are a research publication, not a medical practice.

We do

  • Cite sources and show methodology
  • Explain costs, options, and tradeoffs
  • Update content when evidence changes
  • Disclose limitations and unknowns

We don’t

  • Provide medical advice or diagnoses
  • Accept payment to promote clinics or treatments
  • Publish success-rate claims without context
  • Replace conversations with qualified professionals
