Welcome to The Fertility Field Guide (“Fertility Field Guide,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, tools, guides, comparison features, calculators, databases, and other services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1. The Fertility Field Guide Is an Informational Resource
The Fertility Field Guide is designed to help people better understand and navigate fertility care, including fertility preservation, egg freezing, in vitro fertilization (IVF), fertility clinics, medications, treatment costs, financing, insurance, and related topics.
The Fertility Field Guide is an educational and informational resource. We are not a healthcare provider, medical practice, fertility clinic, pharmacy, insurance provider, or other licensed healthcare professional.
Nothing provided through the Services constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a recommendation regarding any specific course of medical care.
2. No Doctor-Patient Relationship
Your use of The Fertility Field Guide does not create a doctor-patient, healthcare provider-patient, therapist-patient, pharmacist-patient, or other professional relationship between you and The Fertility Field Guide.
You should consult an appropriately licensed healthcare professional regarding questions about your health, fertility, medications, treatment options, diagnoses, or medical decisions.
Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking medical care because of information you have read or received through the Services.
If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, seek emergency medical care immediately.
3. Clinic Comparisons and Other Tools
The Fertility Field Guide may provide tools that allow users to research or compare fertility clinics, providers, treatment options, costs, success rates, services, medications, financing options, or other aspects of fertility care.
These tools are intended to help organize and understand information. They are not recommendations, endorsements, rankings of medical quality, or determinations that a particular clinic, provider, treatment, medication, or service is appropriate for you.
Results may be based on publicly available information, information supplied by third parties, information supplied by providers, user-provided information, estimates, assumptions, or our own methodology.
Different users may receive or interpret information differently, and the factors that matter when choosing fertility care vary substantially from person to person.
You are responsible for independently evaluating providers and treatment options and discussing your circumstances with qualified healthcare professionals.
4. Accuracy and Completeness of Information
We work to provide useful and accurate information, but fertility care is complex and changes frequently.
We do not guarantee that information available through the Services is accurate, complete, current, or applicable to your particular circumstances.
Clinic pricing, medication pricing, insurance coverage, treatment protocols, success rates, availability, policies, financing terms, and other information may change without notice.
You should verify important information directly with the relevant clinic, provider, pharmacy, insurer, financing provider, or other organization before making medical or financial decisions.
5. Cost Estimates and Financial Information
The Fertility Field Guide may provide estimated treatment costs, medication costs, financing information, insurance information, calculators, or other financial information.
These materials are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, insurance, tax, or legal advice.
Actual costs can vary significantly based on your clinic, treatment protocol, medications, insurance coverage, geographic location, medical circumstances, and other factors.
You are responsible for confirming costs, insurance coverage, financing terms, and payment obligations directly with the appropriate provider.
6. Fertility Outcomes
Fertility treatment outcomes vary significantly between individuals and depend on many factors, including age, medical history, diagnosis, treatment protocol, egg and sperm quality, clinic practices, and circumstances outside anyone's control.
Any statistics, success rates, probabilities, estimates, calculators, or similar information provided through the Services describe populations, historical information, or estimates and do not predict or guarantee your individual outcome.
The Fertility Field Guide does not guarantee pregnancy, live birth, successful egg retrieval, successful embryo creation, treatment success, or any other medical outcome.
7. Third-Party Providers and Services
The Services may contain information about or links to fertility clinics, healthcare providers, pharmacies, laboratories, insurers, financing companies, or other third parties.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, inclusion of a third party in The Fertility Field Guide does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation.
We do not control third-party services and are not responsible for their medical care, products, pricing, availability, representations, privacy practices, actions, omissions, or outcomes.
Your relationship with a third party is governed by your agreement with that third party.
8. Commercial Relationships
The Fertility Field Guide may generate revenue through subscriptions, purchases, advertising, sponsorships, referrals, affiliate relationships, partnerships, or other commercial arrangements.
Where appropriate, we will disclose material commercial relationships that may influence how a provider, product, or service appears within the Services.
Unless specifically disclosed, payment does not determine our editorial conclusions or constitute a medical recommendation.
9. User-Provided Information
Some Services may allow you to enter information about yourself, your fertility journey, preferences, treatment, costs, insurance, clinics, medications, or other circumstances.
You are responsible for the information you choose to provide and for ensuring that it is accurate.
